Formed in Hertfodshire in 1963.
Also known as Kenny Lee and the Mark Four.
John Dalton had previously been in Danny King and the Bluejacks, and Jimmy Virgo and the Bluejacks.
John Dalton left in 1965 and was replaced by Tony Cooke on bass guitar.
When The Mark Four signed to the management of Tony Stratton-Smith, Tony Cooke was ousted and Bob Garner brought in as a replacement on bass guitar. Garner had previously played with Tony Sheridan's band.
With Garner, The Mark Four soon changed their name to The Creation.
John Dalton was later in The Kinks.

Tommy Bruce was a London van driver who's friend and neighbour was songwriter Barry Mason. With Barry's encouragement, Tommy recorded a version of 'Ain't Misbehavin', paired with Birmingham group, The Bruisers, and with the musical direction of Norrie Paramor, which was released on Columbia Records to great success and his career took off. Tommy's voice was unique in the world of pop music, with a gravelly resonance, and with his cheerful persona Tommy was able to carve out a niche in the music industry. After two singles with The Bruisers, Tommy went solo. The Bruisers had their own recording career.

The Sheratons were an amateur group formed by Martin Murray. After some lineup changes, they became so popular locally that they soon turned professional and were signed to Pye Records after a recording session with Joe Meek.
This was the original name of the group later known as The Honeycombs, a name they were given by Pye Records.

There are different recollections from those who were there.
Tony Chapman and Bill Wyman were previously in The Cliftons.
Tony Chapman was later in The Preachers, and The Herd, both with Peter Frampton.
