The Amazing Friendly Apple was a jazz/blues orientated band formed in Leeds, Yorkshire.
Peter Waddington had previously been in The Dawnbreakers.
The band were managed by Pete 'Tamla' Brent and Hunter Smith.

'Water Woman' was originally recorded by Spirit. 'Magician' was written by Peter Waddington and Barry Mills. The single was produced by Tony Meehan, former drummer with The Drifters, who became The Shadows.

The French single came with a picture sleeve.

I'm sure that I saw the amazing friendly Apple Saturdays at armley baths in the early 1960 they put a floor over the pool,everyone loved them
