Irene Green successfully auditioned for the all-girl group the Liverbirds in 1963.
In April 1964 she left the Liverbirds and joined the Four Dimensions who changed their name to Tiffany's Dimensions. She also worked as a solo artist for some engagements.
Appeared in the film Liverpool A-Go-Go in 1965 singing on the top-deck of an open-topped bus.

In 1965 Tiffany teamed up with The Thoughts to form Tiffany's Thoughts.
