Auditioned in front of Henry Henroid at the Rialto Ballroom, Liverpool in December 1963, to be considered for playing at The Star Club in Hamburg.
Played at the Star Club in Hamburg in 1964 as a 6-piece with a the name shortened to The Nashpool.
Allen Burton was previously in The Valkyries.
Sid Edwards also played bass guitar with Gerry de Ville and The City Kings, Lee Shondell and the Capitols, Groups Inc (in France at USA Air Bases) and Rory Storm and the Hurricanes.
