The Rebels recorded two songs at Hest Bank Recording Studios near Morecambe in early 1964. The songs were 'Only Time Can Tell', written for The Rebels by Derek Crumblehome who was a member of The Jokers, and ‘Roll Over Beethoven’. The recordings were transferred to 45 demo discs but it is believed that no copies exist today.
Reformed in 2013 for three years.
Disbanded for the final time on New Year's Eve 2015.
