Formed in London.
Eddie Lynch, Peter Hollis and Mick Fleetwood formed a trio called The Senders. They were managed by Peter Bardens. Bardens was convinced to join the group on keyboards and they changed their name to The Cheynes.
Phil Sawyer was later in The Fleur De Lys and The Spencer Davis Group.
Peter Bardens was later in Them, The Peter B's, Peter B's Looners, and Camel. He also recorded as a solo artist.
Roger Peacock was later in The Mark Leeman Five.
