Dave Kaye replaced original vocalist Ivan Mann and The Dykons became Dave Kaye and the Dykons in 1962.
Dave Kaye recorded for Joe Meek at his studio, but Joe preferred to use his in-house musicians instead of The Dykons including drafting a young Jimmy Page.
Dave Kaye and the Dykons appeared in the film 'Elvis: That's the Way it Is' in 1970.
