While in Germany The Carl Fenn Combo disbanded and reformed as The Krewkats.

They moved to Paris, France looking for gigs and after impressing on the local scene, they were invited to become French singer Dick Rivers' new backing band.

The Krewkats also had their own recording deal in France with Pathe Marconi and recorded a four-song E.P that was only released in France.
