Tanya Day

Tanya Day was from Walsall.
Managed by Reg and Dorothy Calvert.
Tanya was a member of the Mark Dean Combo and she was also in the Tremors for a short while.
Her regular backing group was The Somebodys.
In 1962 she had a residency as singer at The Co-Op Club in Nuneaton. 
Tanya performed at The Star Club in Hamburg and was featured on a compilation of Star Club acts released by Polydor.
She often sang as a guest vocalist with various groups including The Beatles and had more success in Germany than in the UK. Tanya had a regular spot at the Star Club in Hamburg, Germany in August of 1964 and Worcester group The Hellions joined her as her backing group.
Tanya Day appeared on the popular TV show 'Thank Your Lucky Stars'.

Ritchie Blackmore apparently played guitar on the track 'His Lips Get In The Way' and the drummer was Carlo Little. Roger Dean played guitars on 'I Get So Lonely'.
The single was also released in Canada.
