Chas Newby - bass guitar

Johnny Hutchinson - drums (stand-in)

Evolved out of The Quarrymen who were formed in 1957.
Managed by Alan Williams and then by Brian Epstein.
Chas Newby played with The Beatles for four gigs in December 1960. Newby had previously been in The Blackjacks with Pete Best.
Johnny Hutchinson played drums for a few gigs between the sacking of Pete Best and the availability of Ringo Starr.


Too much has been written about The Beatles already so only some information will be included here for reference concerning other groups and singers.
