  1. The band was originally formed in 1962 with Cheryl Edge, singer guitarist, Jimmy Barnett, drummer, Mitch Mitchell, bass and Barry Fawcus, guitar. Cheryl and Barry left in 1962 and the band was joined by Rod Godwin, guitar and Johny Emmerson, vocals. Wes Price joined in 1963, rhythm guitar, and the band gigged most of the popular venues in the Coventry area. Following a summer season in Cornwall, Mitch left the band in 1964 to join the Flamingos. After a fairly short period, Mitch left with Terry Howells, keyboards to join the King Size Kings/Ray King Soul Band. Wes went on to have a successful recording career with the Sorrows and Rod has continued to gig with various bands to this day. He also has a fine website which is well worth a visit.

    1. Hi Mitch. Thank you for your comment. I have tried to reflect the information you sent me in the main post. I hope it is OK. If you have any photos of any of the bands you were in during the 1960s and would like me to put them here, please scan them in or take a photo with a smart phone and send them to my email address britishchallenge@gmail.com Many thanks. Ian
