Formed in West Drayton, Middlesex in 1964.
They were originally called the Thunderbirds but shortened their name.
Ali McKenzie and Kim Gardner had previously been in The Renegades.
Appeared in the horror film ‘The Deadly Bees (1966)’
Later renamed themselves Bird’s Birds.
The group finally split in 1967.
Kim Gardner joined the Creation and was later in Ashton, Gardner and Dyke and then Badger.
Ron Wood joined the Jeff Beck Group. He then briefly played with the Creation before returning to the Jeff Beck Group. Later he joined the Faces with Rod Stewart and eventually found himself in the Rolling Stones after the departure of Mick Taylor.
