Formed in Croydon, London.

Originally known as The Hi-Fi's.

Sometimes billed as Vern Roger and the Hi-Fi's.

Later known as Brian Bennett and the Hi-Fi's after Vern Rogers went solo and recorded for Oriole Records, and then back to The Hi-Fi's.

Vern Rogers later performed with The Rebounds.

The Hi-Fi's later recorded for Piccadilly and Pye Records.
