The Humblebums
Billy Connolly and Gerry Rafferty.

Billy Connolly - guitar, banjo, vocals
Tam Harvey - guitar, mandolin, vocals
Gerry Rafferty - guitar, vocals
Aly Bain - fiddle
Formed in Glasgow in 1965.
Billy Connolly was previously in The Skillet Lickers, and The Acme Brush Company.
Aly Bain joined briefly as an 'unofficial member'.
Gerry Rafferty joined in 1969 and for a while The Humblebums performed as a trio.
Gerry Rafferty had previously been in Fifth Column.
Tam Harvey left in 1969/70.
Tam Harvey was later in High Speed Grass.
The Humblebums disbanded in 1971.
Gerry Rafferty recorded a solo album and then formed Stealer's Wheel with Joe Egan.
Gerry Rafferty eventually became a successful solo artist.
Billy Connolly became an internationally successful comedian and actor.
