Formed in Glasgow, Scotland in 1962.
Managed by Joe Gaffney, and later Ken Pitt.
Appeared on the television programme 'Ready Steady Go!'
Disbanded in 1969 after their van was stolen with all their equipment in it.
Alan Mair was later in The Only Ones.
Jeff Allen was later in Dr. K's Blues Band , and East of Eden.
Eddie Campbell was later in Tear Gas
Davie Lennox was later in The Joe O'Donnell Band in 1978. 
The Beatstalkers played a reunion concert at The Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow on 23 December 2005. The group on that night included Alan Mair, Ronnie Smith, Davie Lennox and Jeff Allen.
The Beatstalkers played another reunion gig in 2013.
