Formed in Send, Surrey in 1963.
The Senders later changed their name several times, firstly to The Pink Bears, then The Late Edition and then The Late.
Pat Martin switched to playing bass guitar.
By the late 1960s The Late were the backing band for Billy J. Kramer.
They eventually evolved into Unicorn, recording an album for Transatlantic Records.
Pat Martin was later in The Tamla Tigers and in the backing band for Kate Bush.
