Petula Clark

























Real Name: Sally Olwen Clark
Born: 15 November 1932, Epsom, Surrey, England.

Started singing as a child and first broadcast on BBC radio during WWII.
In the 1950s and 1960s, Petula released many singles and LPs with varying degrees of success, peaking several times. She often recorded songs in several languages for European audiences.
In 1964, Clark scored a number one hit across the world with a Tony Hatch composition 'Downtown'.
