The Innocents were previously known as Bobby Angelo and the Tuxedos who had had a hit with 'Baby Sittin' in 1961. Bobby Angelo went solo and The Tuxedos eventually changed their name to The Innocents.
Don Groom was also in The Outlaws who recorded with Mike Berry and had their own hits.

As well as releasing their own singles, The Innocents backed Mike Berry, Mike Sarne and many others on their recorded output and at some gigs.
