Donna Douglas took part in 'A Song for Europe' in February 1962 in which there was a televised competition to decide which song would represent the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest later that year. The song Donna sang was 'The Message in a Bottle', which was also released as a single. She came 3rd, losing out to Ronnie Carroll singing 'Ring-A-Ding Girl'.
Donna Douglas emigrated to Perth, Western Australia in 1974.
Not to be confused with the American actress of the same name.
