Won the Area Beat Competition in Stafford in January 1965 and went on to appear in the county finals on 30th January 1965.

Formed in Stafford, Staffordshire, England in 1960.
Anthony Coghlan and Alan Smith were later in The Motives.

The Electrons were a Stafford band formed out of the Rowley Street Methodist Youth Club in 1960. They became a semi-pro unit in 1961. Managed by Tony Moss, the band changed their line up early in 1963 when the drummer and rhythm guitarist got married.
