There were two incarnations of The Bumblies. The first was formed around 1962 with George Robinson, Mike Parker and Dave Ferguson. After disbanding, there would be a gap before George Robinson would form the second incarnation in 1963. In between George Robinson was briefly in Buddy Dean and the Teachers.

Dougie ? left in 1963.

Barry Davidson, Jimmy Marr and John Tague were members of The Bumblies for a very short time.
Charlie Crane was added as a second vocalist in 1964.
The Bumblies later became The Cryin' Shames and recorded with Joe Meek for Decca.
