Keith Karlson and Bob Conrad formed a duo called The Nomads in 1962 

By September 1962 Stu James and Adrian Lord had joined the group.

Changed their name to The Mojos in August 1963 when Terry O'Toole joined the group.

In October 1963 Nicky Crouch joined, replacing the outgoing Adrian Lord.

Nicky Crouch was formerly in Faron's Flamingos.
