Tony Hicks was previously in The Dolphins.

Don Rathbone left in 1963 and was replaced by Bobby Elliott after he passed an audition. Several other drummers who were later to become famous were at the audition, including Mick Fleetwood and Keith Moon. The advantage for Elliott was that aswell as being a good drummer he had also played with Tony Hicks before in The Dolphins.
