Formed in 1952.
Sometimes billed as Johnny Wiltshire and the Trebletones.
Played at many of the Butlins camps during the early 1960s and recorded a Butlins single.
Toured many times with Cliff Richard and the Shadows from 1958 onwards.
Appeared on BBC Light Programme's 'Saturday Club' many times and even had their own show called 'Cool Spot'.
Johnny Wiltshire later became a musical director and orchestra leader for television and theatre shows. He backed many of the stars over the years including Jimmy Tarbuck, Kenny Lynch, Benny Hill and Morcambe and Wise.
