Their first female vocalist was called Annette.
Recorded some tracks for Decca in 1971 and had some radio airplay, but the recordings have never re-surfaced. 
Disbanded in the latter half of the 1970s.

Formed in Crewe, Cheshire.
Went to Germany for two months in 1964.
Played in Hamburg, Germany in May 1964. Also played in Dortmund, Bremen, Munster, Osnabruck and Hamm, Germany.
Also played in Venlo in Holland during their German tour in June 1964.
By the end of November 1964 they changed their name to The Magic Moments.

Clay Ellis and the Raiders

Bobby Turner - guitar (Born: 14 February 1949 - Died: August 2018)

Formed in 1960 in Wallasey, Wirral, Cheshire.
John Edmonds left the group about 6 months after its formation when he had to go back to Essex after his Unilever apprenticeship training finished in Bromborough village on the Wirral.
After Les Belamere left, Bobby Turner joined as the only guitarist.
Clay Ellis was apparently approached by Brian Epstein in 1962 to sign a deal, but it would have meant that Ellis would be separated from The Raiders. He turned it down.
Recorded a demo acetate of 'Put The Blame On Me', 'I'm a Fool For You', 'Here's Hopin'', and 'I'm A Hog For You' in 1963.
Disbanded in late 1963.
Clay Ellis was later in Clay Ellis and the Corsairs, and Mr. Lee & Co.
Malcolm Shelbourne was later in Savva and the Democrats, Gerry De Ville and the City Kings, and Purple Grass, who later changed their name to Rainbow (not the Rainbow formed by Ritchie Blackmore).
Kenny Cochran was later in The Koobas before joining the backing group for The Excelles.
Bobby Turner later formed The Landsliders in 1963 who changed their name to The Black Abbots around 1964.

Formed in Chester, Cheshire in 1963. (Some sources say they are from Ellesmere Port)
Peter Johnson, John Pickett and Phil Blackwell were previously in The Vikings.
George Roberts was previously in Jeannie and the Big Guys.
Managed by Les Ackerley from November 1963.
Recorded two tracks in German before touring Germany in 1964, Big Bad John and Memphis Tennessee.
George Roberts was replaced by Aynsley Dunbar on drums in 1964.
Aynsley Dunbar was replaced by John Bell on drums in 1965.

Formed in Wilmslow, Cheshire in 1958.
Managed by Brian Shapley, who also occasionally played piano and bass guitar in the group.
Don Rathbone replaced Roy Tomkins in 1960.
Don Rathbone left in 1960. He was later in Kirk Daniels and the Deltas, The Kirk Daniels Group, The Deltas featuring Ricky and Dane, The Flintstones, and finally The Hollies before leaving the music business around the end of 1962.
