Formed in London.
The members of The Viscounts had all been part of a TV ensemble called Morton Fraser's Harmonica Gang. 
Disbanded in 1965.
Gordon Mills was later a successful songwriter writing 'It's Not Unusual', which was a worldwide hit for Tom Jones. 
Don Paul became a record producer

They sang vocal harmonies in the style of the Everly Brothers.

Formed in Liverpool.
An all-girl vocal trio.
Carol and Sue Bell were identical twins. Jean Bell was their older sister.
Did a season in Blackpool on the Central Pier when they were children.
Performed in Hamburg and also Turkey.
Released records on Columbia, Pye, Decca and CBS.
Were later known as The Satin Bells.

Formed in Bristol in the late 1950s.
A vocal harmony quartet.
Formerly known as The Beltones and The Hi-Fi's.
Sang back-up vocals behind Joe Brown, Billy Fury, Eden Kane, and Benny Hill, and many more, and made dozens of television appearances between 1958 and 1964.
The group members did their national service in the Army at the same time, continuing to work together whenever possible, and finishing in 1960.

The Chants were a vocal group who were usually backed by The Harlems.
In 1962/63 The Chants were managed by Brian Epstein.
Appeared at The Cavern in November 1962, backed by The Beatles.
Eddie Amoo had success in the 1970s as a songwriter and later as a member of his brother Chris Amoo's band 'The Real Thing'.
